Jacques has been working at Quest Software since 2001 as an Oracle database subject expert and is also still active in his local Amnesty International group, in Irvine, of which he’s been a member for almost 20 years. He goes every Sunday to church (unitarian universalist) with his family.

Recently he has spent his spare time practicing the solution to Rubik's cube. He was forced to after Joël found one of those toys lying around the house and, fully trusting in the powers of his father, asked him to make all the colours the same on all sides. Thanks to the magic of the internet he was able to find a solution and Joël is now very proud of his father's skill.
