Joël is now four and a half years old and he is in excellent health. He is very easy-going and happy (most of the time). He loves playing with his legos, his wooden trains, and his toy cars. He takes good care of his younger brother Eric and when Eric does soething silly you will often see Joël lying on top of him to prevent Eric from further misdeeds. Which makes Eric very happy as you can guess. But Joël can easily make Eric laugh big belly laughs at the silly things he does.

He is a very protective and loving older brother except when it comes to his toys. Then watch out! Joël has a little plastic R2-D2 robot, and Mommy wrote under it, with a pen, “Joël K. and Eric K.”. Joël has already asked me many times to get rid of Eric’s name by painting over it with white paint.

Joël has really enjoyed going to day care and has currently moved up the clases to the pre-kindergarten class. He is very proud of himself and is excited to be starting the “big school” (kindergarten) in the fall!
