I guess the music lessons that Joël is taking at Beach Mesa Music Together are paying off. At the classes he plays instruments and dances, but one supposes that he is also learning musical appreciation. Today his father Jacques was driving him to pre-school, and so Jacques, as a treat to Joël, offered to sing him a song (those of you who have heard Jacques sing know that he would not be chosen as a soloist in a choir). Joël first pleaded “Non Papa, je veux entendre la musique à la radio” and then when Jacques started singing anyway, Joël told him “Shhh! Quiet! Q! Q means Quiet!”

Eric was not feeling his best this week-end so Elizabeth brought him to see his doctor on Monday. Not so good news : he has bronchitis again and a bad ear infection. We have the pleasure of giving him breathing treatments, which means 10 minutes of him screaming while we hold a mask over his face. Lots of fun! At least when it’s over he’s ready to go to sleep. Let’s hope we don't have to do this for too long!
