Palm Springs

29-30 March 2003

The Kilchoers went to Palm Springs to visit with some of Elizabeth's friends. We stayed in a motel in Palm Springs the first day and took the aerial tramway that goes up San Jacinto Mountain where we saw some snow. The next day was spent at the fancy La Quinta resort in La Quinta where Elizabeth's friend was staying.

Danielle, Robert and Douglas joined Elizabeth, Jacques and Joël at the motel in Palm Springs after the Kilchoers had a late start. After checking in we all jumped into the pool. The water was as warm as bath water.

The trip up San Jacinto mountain

Danielle, Robert, Douglas, Elizabeth, Jacques, Joël gathered their courage and soared high above the trees in the famous rotating aerial tramway above Palm Springs. Elizabeth was a little light-headed due to the high altitude but after a rest and a prime rib dinner she was fine.

At La Quinta Resort

On Sunday morning Danielle, Robert, Douglas, Elizabeth, Jacques and Joël went over to the luxurious La Quinta Inn where we joined Laura, Jillian, Cameron, Rebecca and Michael (Mr. Rebecca). Unfortunately Michael was not captured on film.

Steak Dinner

Danielle, Robert and Douglas left early for the drive home, but the rest of the gang (minus Michael) went to have steak in La Quinta.
